Ready to explore the stunning countryside north of Leeds? Our next social ride takes on the Red Kite Trail—a 20-mile loop featuring scenic bridleways, forest paths, and historic landmarks. We’ll kick things off with a pre-ride coffee to fuel up and cap the day with a well-earned post-ride beer.

The pace will be relaxed, but the route includes varied terrain with some technical off-road sections, so a bit of gravel or MTB experience and solid fitness are recommended. It’s all about enjoying the ride, meeting fellow off-road connoisseurs, and soaking up the Yorkshire charm.

Let’s ride, connect, and unwind—gravel style!
The Route
Starting in North Leeds, we'll head to Eccup Reservoir and through the Harewood estate. We'll then join
the Red Kite Trail near East Keswick. This is a 20mi (32km) loop that has a mix of bridleways, quiet lanes, and woodland tracks, with gentle climbs and descents through areas like Hetchell Wood, Bramham Park, the Harland Way to Spofforth, past Stockeld Park, and through the picturesque Woodhall Bridge crossing over the River Wharfe. We'll then head back through the Harewood estate and back in to Adel.
